Microneedling and Microneedling RF
Treatment Description
Microneedling - also known as micropuncture - involves the use of very fine needles to produce controlled damage to trigger the skin's natural healing and regeneration cascade, which promotes the natural production of growth factors, collagen, and elastin.
The result is a firming of your skin. This type of treatment also enables smoothing out irregularities in the texture of your facial or body skin, such as stretch marks or acne scars.
At Figurra, we also have the expertise using an advanced microneedling technology delivering radiofrequency (RF) energy. During your treatment, the RF energy is distributed through the fine needles, beneath the skin's surface, stimulating collagen production both on the surface and in-depth.
Things to know about this treatment
An average treatment takes between 10 and 40 minutes depending on the surface to be covered. We recommend one treatment per month for 4 to 8 sessions, depending on the desired result.
Periodic maintenance visits may be recommended afterwards.
The treatment is tolerable for most people. Some people may experience slight pain during the procedure. An analgesic cream is used to reduce discomfort.
Swelling, redness and bleeding sites may occur after the procedure. This will disappear in the following days. In the case of an advanced technique is necessary, the redness may persist a little longer.
A detailed list of possible side effects will be explained to you during your consultation.
The results become more and more visible after each session and a few months after completing the treatment series.
The base price is $325. It varies depending on the area to be treated and the number of sessions required.
