Surgical Blepharoplasty
Treatment Description
Blepharoplasty is a surgery to correct heavy or drooping eyelids by removing small amounts of excess fat and skin. This condition adds years to the look of the eyes and in some cases can even impair vision.
The procedure is relatively fast, comfortable and is performed under local anesthesia.
A small crescent-shaped section of skin will be removed from the upper eyelid. The incision lines will follow the natural fold of the eyelids and will be closed with very fine stitches, minimizing the visibility of the surgical area.
