Eyes - Dark circles and hollows
Condition Description
The skin around the eyes is particularly delicate. It is also affected by the passage of time.
As we age, the orbital septum, the fibrous part of the eyelid, weakens, the soft tissues on the cheeks lose their volume, and fatty bags form under the eyes.
Hollows, also known as the "tear troughs", appear in the area between the lower eyelid and the upper cheek, giving the eyes a tired and aged look.
Dark circles can also be caused by pigmentation of the eyelid skin. Thinning of the skin and an increased number of visible veins will contribute to dark circles.
How to Treat
Filling cavities can be done by injecting fillers or platelet-rich plasma that is made from the components of your own blood.
