Dr. Martin LeBlanc, Dermatologist

Dr Martin LeBlanc
Dr. Martin LeBlanc is originally from Moncton, New Brunswick and completed his Diploma of Health Science at l'Université de Moncton followed by Medical Studies at l'Université de Sherbooke, Moncton campus in 2012. He pursued his postdoctoral Specialty in Dermatology at the l'Université Laval in Quebec City graduating in 2017. Afterwards, he opted for a Mohs Skin Cancer Surgery Fellowship in Toronto at the Women’s College Hospital.  Finally, after many years of postsecondary studies, he chose to return to his hometown with his wife and two young boys to begin his practice.
Mohs surgery is an innovative procedure which involves the removal of malignant skin cancers while safely preserving healthy surrounding skin tissue. The typical standard procedure would require excising a wider skin margin unnecessarily removing healthy skin around the lesion, often leaving larger scars.  This specialty describes Dr. LeBlanc to the fullest. His meticulous attention to details offers his patients a very safe and minimal scaring result.  Cancer patients already have enough burden and stress associated with the diagnosis as it is. Dr LeBlanc strives to leave the slightest reminder of that life challenging event and minimize any residual effect.

Practicing General Dermatology and performing MOHS Surgery at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Dr. LeBlanc joined Figurra Institute’s team of medical professionals in September 2018. “What attracted me to the Figurra Institute is a radiant team which continuously seeks to excel. My interest for aesthetic dermatology pushes me to support and guide patients in their quest to present their best image and their most beautiful sides.” says Dr. Martin LeBlanc. Healthy skin being his passion, he is driven to offer his services to people wishing to look their best and take good care of their appearances.
