The seeds of the Figurra Institute (formerly known as Dermalaser Clinic) were sown when Dr. Chiasson started her career in dermato-aesthetics in 1998 and then opened a clinic in 1999 on 100 Arden Street in Moncton with a staff consisting of one nurse and herself. Four years later, in 2003, the Dermalaser Clinic was formally incorporated in the seaside community of Shediac, NB.This resort-like town has proven to be an ideal location for the institute as it offers a secluded, natural sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of modern life, but is still within close proximity to urban centres for ease of access. Figurra Institute incorporates the most advanced medical and surgical skin and body care technologies within an inviting, intimate and relaxed atmosphere.
